We are committed to strengthening persons' faith, and witnessing to and advocating
justice and compassion:
 | through vital worship that celebrates God's act on behalf of humankind,
cherishes the varieties of faith journeys, and embraces the diversities of our life,
including racial diversity; |

| through congregational programs of education, nurture and empowerment that strengthen
the individual's grounding in the faith and upbuild the congregation; |

| through programs that focus basic life questions of existence and faith; |

| through intentionally challenging persons to a calling of discipleship, and Christian
leadership and service; |

| through faithful stewarding of our personal, ecological and financial resources,
individually and corporately; |

| through supporting and advocating the establishment of justice; |

| through participating in and supporting the denominational and ecumenical outreach
throughout God's world. |
